Moulding into Jesus character

I was thinking this morning - How can our character be moulded and be more Christ-like? Moulding character is liken to the process of moulding a pottery. 2 things - the clay needs to be softened by water and then go through hot fire for the final product. Amazing..

1) We need to be softened and allow God to mould and change our character! With the help of the water (Holy Spirit), our hardened old character is softened and moulded to what Jesus wants us to be!

2) Secondly, our character needs to be tested and the best way is to go through blazing fire (trials and tribulations). Sometimes, we feel like giving up when we are struggling in the fire, but after the trial and tribulation , our character get stronger and able to withstand tough times better!

Thank God for this revelation!

Sister Cheng said this:
" Anything that is reasonable is called training.
Whereas anything that is unreasonable is called moulding." This includes the way how people treat us at times.
