Yesterday, I heard an interesting information from my director, not related to work but about our health. He said that our body is made up of water (hydrogen + oxygen) and carbon. Once it is in contact with heat, our body will oxidise and give out carbon dioxide, which causes gradual degeneration process. Thats why our body needs to generate new cells to replace old cells. However. by taking anti-oxidants, found mainly in fruits and vegetables, it helps to protect the body cells from degenerating too quickly and keeps them healthy!
Hence, it is very important to eat fruits and vegetables everyday to keep our body healthy. For me, I eat fruits, maybe 2-3 times a week, and skip vegetables at times. To have a strong healthy body, we need to eat fruits and vegetables everyday to get the necessary vitamins and minerals for our body! Quite surprised to hear that from my director..lol.. but it is an important piece of information for me! I will try to keep healthy by eating fruits and vegetables regularly!
