One Punch Man

Seldom watch anime but I thought one punch man was great! One punch man was asked whats the secret of his success? He answered plainly "Do 100 pushups, 100 situps & run 10km repeatedly everyday for 3 years. Lesson learnt - secret to greatness is to be consistent & faithful. Great show!

Happiest moments

In my mind, the 2 happiest moments are still my 2 years in jc and that 1 year sot period with her. Firstly, I thank God for getting to know my JC friends. We were so close back then. Study play & hang out together. Everyday was like heaven to me. I can only look back n thank God for those 2 years of sweet memories. Another happiest moment is probably getting to know her. She is one of the kind in this world. The master of self entertainment. Probably the only gal who made me laugh until cramp and bring smile to me everyday. Sometimes I do miss her alot. We will remain as covenant friends, like the beautiful rainbow she gave me. I guess the only things we bring back to heaven are relationships and the sweet memories we had..

Reaching out

Pastor has been preaching on the message on increasing our inner man spiritually. Thought it was a great message! But what impacted me is the church vision to reach out to the people of China.

Instead of going there on missions, God has brought them to SG either on business, leisure or education. Pray that God will use us to spread the gospel to them & bring revival back in China. Believe they will bring the end time harvest for Christ!

New flat

Been some time since I last blogged. Thank God for the new flat in Khatib. Finally I got a property under my name! Its going to be busy doing renovation and currently toilet upgrade at old flat.. God give me wisdom & grace that everything will run smoothly. Amen

Goodbye my friend

The passing on of my primary school friend Youding came as a shock n tremendous grief to me. He was a close friend of mine since peinary school. We used to play games & hang out together almost everyday.. We would share our secrets together (which gal we like, which actress is pretty) and our Malaysia Cup football fanatics!

After we left school, he had kidney failure and had been in dialysis for the last 20 years. Despite the pain & torment of going through dialysis every week, he remained optimistic about life and kept on fighting on! He joined our class gatherings often and I would visit him at his mum porridge stall whenever I was free. He loved chinese kungfu shows and classical music.

Though he has left us, his smile and laughter still remained in my mind.. Thanks for being a part of my happy childhood and sweet memories..

Easter experience 2015

Last week I took part in the easter drama production - my 3rd time as a Roman soldier. Though there are many rehearsals & late nights, I got to know many new friends and experience great acting skills. But most of all, its the encounter with God which matters most.

On the 2nd day of the drama, they decided to use "blood" in the whipping of Jesus. During the whipping, the blood splashed on my face. Presence of God just filled my heart. I froze at the moment n began to tremble. The scene of Jesus dying at the Cross for us become so real to me! I was on the verge of breaking down until I told myself that I need to pick myself up and finish the job. After the nailing n carrying up the Cross, I was already trembling at the presence of God..

Really thank God for this opportunity to act in the Easter drama. Many souls were saved during the 3 days of drama. Previously I was abit apprehensive in accepting the role as my right knee had surgery before. But I decided to trust God for protection and thank God I even carried Jesus many times without any knee guard nor pain. Probably my 3rd & final time. Body getting old. But it was a great Easter experience which I would cherish!

Passing of LKY

Early this week, the news of the passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, our first Prime Minister in Singapore, spread throughout the whole mass media. I had nothing but utmost respect for this great leader. Without him, Singapore will not be today, a first world country with state of the art technology and excellent living conditions.

I am really blessed to be a Singaporean! The country is clean, safe and easily accessible by public transport. Education and medical facilities are among the best in the world! Every family is able to own a flat and job opportunities are available. Thank God for a great leader in Lee Kuan Yew who laid down his life to build this nation! Though he had his fair share of critics due to his strong n 'iron fist' character, it is for the good for the nation and the long term vision to be a successful nation! Full of gratitude and love for this great man!

I hoped that he has received Christ before his passing on. I would love to meet him in heaven and thank him in person! Thank you again, Mr LKY! Your legacy shall live on forever!

RIP

It came as a utter shock to me when uncle wm relative called me that he has passed away due to heart attack. I just brought him out for dinner 2 weeks ago and he left us so suddenly. Uncle wm was a great guy! He is always so obliging, putting others above himself and helping people with a positive attitude! I always enjoyed my visitation with him. He would share with me all his travel experiences!

Probably the regular dialysis took the toll out of him, he lost weight and had problem breathing and walking. He is ever present in our xmas n cny parties. I gonna miss him. Thank you uncle wm for the sweet memories! Been great to know you for the past 7 years! You are in the loving arms of Jesus right now..
