Watched the movie "The Wrestler" last saturday. I thought the show was really good.. Being a WWE wrestling fan since young, I can understand the pain and stress they are going through.. They have to act like nothing happened, even though they are carrying serious injuries.. The show has to go on.. Sometimes they have to act as the bad guy and make everyone hate him. Its part of their job, their profession.
Some of them have to even retire early if unfortunate things happen like permanent disability or serious health problem as in the case of this show. I almost teared towards the end, when Mickey Rourke (the main actor) knew that he had heart problem and cant wrestle anymore, he kept on wrestling until his heart failed in the end. From now on, everytime I watch a WWE wrestling match, I will sympathize with the wrestlers, that they have to entertain the crowd with all their heart and even endure pain and agony to finish the match.. Kudos to them!
