Ministry

Had a great ministry leaders' meeting with Pastor Jeremy last Thursday. During the first hour, the ministry head shared about the vision of the ministry for 2011 - to strengthen our foundation while improving the quality of care for our patients. After that, Pastor Jeremy shared one of my favorite bible verse - Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed"

Wow.. this is the verse that God gave me to join this ministry! It really re-affirm the plan and destiny God has placed in my life! Pastor later shared about the 5 groups of people we are reaching out to - the poor, the broken-hearted, the captives, the blind and the oppressed. Yes, our ultimate aim is to preach the good news to them and bring salvation and healing in their lives! God is so real and moving in our midst! Later we entered into worship, God presence came and we wept. It re-ignites our hearts to serve Him with all that we have! Last but not least, I just want to highlight the true meaning of HIV - He Is Victorious! Amen!
