Amazed..
Last Sunday, I went to dan and noelle wedding.. I knew Dan during NTU days.. he is a nice brother, always jio me to eat and fellowship together.. Really happy to see him getting married! During the wedding, a lady came up to sing for the couple.. Wah I was blown away by her powerful voice! She is really good.. can play guitar and perform on stage very well.. After the wedding, I went to ask my good pal Victor to find out who this lady is.. He told me that she is from his cellgroup! Really amazed by her singing.. think she can join singapore idol! Look forward to meet this sister in church someday..

Identity in Christ
Dr Bernard preached a great sermon on saturday!
1) He began his preaching by quoting Matthew 4:1 where Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness. Jesus overcome the devil by quoting "The Scripture says" 3 times.. Likewise, we christians need to confess the Word more often and believe in the POWER of God! The Word of God is the only authority we have over the devil!
2) Jesus knew His identity in God and His destiny very well. The devil attacked His identity by challenging Him to turn stones into bread, jump off the cliff and to bow down before him. But Jesus was not moved and rebuked the devil instead. Likewise, we christians need to know our standing and identity in CHRIST to overcome the devil's wiles!
3) Dr Bernard also explained the meaning of idolatory - symbols that take away our attention from God. People worship idols to seek security and meaning in life! The only way to seek genuine security and meaning in life is really to put Jesus as our Lord and Savior all the time!
4) He also gave a good definition of FAITH - it is the reasoned trust in God, while DOUBT is the reason not to trust God! The devil knows that our faith is an powerful tool to unleash God power in our life, hence he will try all ways to attack our FAITH! Hence, we need to increase our FAITH and put our total trust in God!
It was really a powerful service.. Words alone cannot explain the revelations that God gave to me that saturday! But there is one word to describe Dr Bernard preaching -simply MIND-BLOWING! Woo..

Growing fat
It has been really a "fat" week for me.. I had chongqing steamboat with victor, japanese food with jamie, ikea western food with choryong and lastly, pasta & pizza with my client.. Could feel my tummy growing bigger like 5 month pregnant! Must start to eat less next week to balance my sinful eating..

High tech Jap Restaurant
Today went to Iluma with my mum and sister to celebrate belated birthday for my sister. As I am the engineer for this building, I showed my family the special aspects of the building and how I toiled for one whole year to finish the project. We went to the famous japanese restaurant called Ebisboshi Shotengai. It is a combination of 7 jap restaurants combined into one big one, concept similar to Marche. I was quite encaptured by the design of the restaurant, colourful and very olden japanese.
We went in and ordered a few dishes. One of the special thing which amazes me was the auto self order device on each table. You can order the dish simply by scanning on the menu and sending the order directly to the kitchens.. w/o any waitress help. Woo.. very efficient and high tech..
The food was great and the ambience was very nice (the aircon, lighting, mech services designed by me.. ops.. abit of self-advertisement.. haha) Enjoy my precious quality time with my family.. After eating, we walked around the shopping mall and stayed at the arcade for some time.. After one hour, we decided to go home as my legs are getting the toll of it.. But we enjoyed the food and window-shopping together.. hehe..
