KTV and soccer
Today went ktv with my whole family.. we went amoy street food centre ard 12pm eat lunch. Me blur though, didnt check the timing.. partyworld opens at 2pm.. faint.. have to wait.. so we went chinatown shopping.. miss the childhood days I had in chinatown when my dad owned a medical hall.. everyday play games with my siblings and going playground..
After strolling, we went chinatown plaza KBOX instead and sang for 4 hours! woo.. my dad and my mum got addicted in singing old songs.. wah faint.. me and my sisters have to queue for our turn.. but anyway, we had a great time singing.. After KTV, we went home for dinner. All of the sudden, I remember Singapore vs Jordan match at the National Stadium today 730pm, I quickly rushed to the National Stadium and wanted to buy the grandstand tickets. To my pleasant surprise, a man gave me free complimentary $10 grandstand ticket! woo.. Thank God..
Back to the match, only a few thousands turned up, but that does not dampen my spirits in supporting my national soccer team! Singapore went 1-0 up, but Jordan equalised through a dubious penalty. But thank God, Singapore regained the lead and held on to win the match 2-1! woo.. happy.. I am always their loyal supporter since 1991.. I had a great time today.. doing my favourite past-times - ktv and soccer! 4 more days to relax before work starts! Make full use!

CNY Holiday #2
Day 2 - Morning wake up blur blur.. watch a bit of tv and pray.. After lunch, went out early to gai gai.. Decided to go to sign up for the National Huichun Competition.. It is a yearly event for me.. This time it is held on 8 Feb 8am, at Singapore Calligraphy Society in Waterloo Street, Bugis, instead of the usual Kallang People Association. Quite excited this time.. Dunno why.. Hope I can do well and win at least a merit prize this time..
Went shopping in OG, Bugis after that. Bought some chocolate candies for my cellgroup.. Happy.. Suddenly thought of going T3, took mrt and started my exploration around the airport.. Admiring some of my design in building services.. like aircon, fire protection services in T3.. after an hour, realised that its 430pm.. decided to take mrt back to expo for service..
Had a pleasant surprise when Alan gave me a book by John Bevere "Driven by Eternity". He thanked me for being his connect group leader.. wah touched... heez.. had a great service! Pastor Kong preached about the chinese culture and that long before, God is already in our chinese culture. Explained the chinese characters in detail and linked God in relation to the characters! Amazing.. Believed the end times harvest will happen in China, where the Chinese will take the gospel for Jesus! Suddenly, feel like God speaking to me to develop my talent in chinese calligraphy and shine for His Glory.
After service, we went T3 foodcourt to makan.. As usual, our fellowship is full of jokes and fun.. Eugene will entertain us with his talking, yap will make me laugh with his doctrines.. We even went to watch mid-night show - Jack Neo's Love Matters.. Jamie was treated for a free movie by me.. thanks to AXS machine.. haha.. anyway, the show was quite interesting and funny.. took cab after that.. slept at 3am.. tired but enjoyed myself..

CNY Holiday #1
Today is the start of my 10 day CNY holiday.. Early morning woke up.. dunno why.. maybe used to waking up early 7am for work.. ate breakfast.. read newspaper.. surf net.. then went back to sleep till 11am.. Went out for a jog after that.. Went to visit my old primary school at Guillemard Road.. Now changed into a office.. Amazing.. Time flies.. past memories of primary school days flashed through my mind.. After that, I jogged back home and ate lunch.
Now start my spring cleaning.. Cleaned all the kitchen cabinets, washed all the dishes, wiped all the doors and cleared my cabinet.. Faint.. lots of dust.. only when CNY then starts to clean.. haha.. Mum cleaned the windows while i went to order online for buffet at my house for relatives during Chu Er. Thank God.. manage to order the buffet for CNY Day 2. After that, me bathed and prepared to go for seminar at 8pm.
The seminar on effective communications was interesting.. Was quite tired after spring cleaning.. but had a good time learning and having a good laugh. Sabo eugene to go up stage but in the end, sabo myself to go up stage.. As usual, nerves got onto me.. tongue-tied and mind blank in front of many people.. must pray to overcome this mental block to be an effective communicator!
Had a fruitful day helping mum spring clean the house though.. but God began to speak to me during the seminar to shine forth as salt and light in the market place.. Be bold and confident in expressing yourself! End of CNY Holiday #1.

Time to think
4 more days to CNY holiday.. very happy.. becos I can visit relatives and friends, and not forgetting eat goodies! woo.. miss bak kua, seafood and lots of CNY candies.. Time for reunion for my family too.. My sister coming back from Ireland this wednesday.. hee.. she will buy presents for us.. yippee.. enjoy 9 days of holiday till 1 feb..
Can visit all my pri sch friends, jc friends, uni friends, army friends, ex-colleagues.. the list goes on.. and most importantly.. I can go jalan jalan the whole of Singapore by myself.. Loves to travel around by mrt..by bus.. walk.. look at scenery, people.. eat junk food, watch movies, disturb people, pray to God.. get revelations.. set new visions, woo..
But most of all, I want to think about my future.. Reaching 30 this year.. Plan to do what God really wants me to do.. End times coming.. I have a good 10 years ahead to make an impact for God.. Make full use of my life.. maximise my talents, pour my life to serve God and His people.. Time is passing by so quickly.. Lets be fruitful!

My love - chinese calligraphy
Since I was in primary school, my hand writing is horrendous.. I wrote super fast and disgustingly illegible. My primary school teachers always scolded me for writing rubbish.. However, when I went to secondary school, my chinese teacher told me to write slowly and that I can write really well.. Wah suddenly I feel a beam of light just shone on me from heaven.. like God speaking to me.. I heeded her advice and since then, I began to write my chinese words slowly and properly. She even sent me to chinese calligraphy competitons, which I was in top3 awards every year.
When I went to Tampines JC, I immediately signed up for chinese calligraphy club, where my love for chinese calligraphy deepens. My "shifu" Mr Tan Siah Kwee, who happens to be the president of Singapore Chinese Calligraphy Society, is considered one of the best in Singapore and taught me good calligraphy skills. I really learnt alot in my 2 years of intensive training with him, which I took part in many national competitions and even overseas competitions in China and Japan. Though I left TPJC in 1997, I still keep in contact with my shifu and takes part every year in National Huichun Competition during CNY without fail.. I am forever grateful to my shifu for teaching me chinese calligraphy and allow me to express my interests freely.
Recently, Justin gave me an idea of making use of my chinese calligraphy knowledge to teach younger kids basic calligraphy skills as an extra income to my current job as an engineer. And to sell my calligraphy works in online auctions and blogs, to increase my current income. It would be great if I can convert my interest into my career... I pray that God will open this doorway for me, that I can set up my own company and do what I am best at - arts and design.. Woo.. Looking foward to this exciting dream to come true.. believe and work towards it!

CNY holiday..
Today went to my Bugis site the whole day.. Site problems never seems to end.. really want to faint.. I just pray that my project quickly ends and I can have my 10 day CNY holiday. My sister and my ang moh brother-in-law will be back for CNY from Ireland.. woo..
